64 CECIL COUNTY, [ART. 8.

UNIONTOWN.

The Act of June 18, 1861, ch. 62, adds the following to section 88:

6. Any white person or persons, free negro or slave, who shall
violate any of the penal ordinances, or any ordinance, or clause
of any ordinance of the corporation of Uniontown, the violation
of which, subjects the party violating the same to a fine, shall,
immediately after the fine is imposed, pay the same, otherwise
the said party so offending shall be imprisoned not exceeding
ten days.
