(House Bill 922)
AN ACT concerning
Commission on Judicial Disabilities
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Commission on Judicial
Disabilities to recommend to the Court of Appeals
the censure or other appropriate disciplining of a
judge and to issue a reprimand; authorizing the
Court of Appeals to adopt rules governing the
confidentiality of Commission proceedings, and the
record thereof filed in the Court of Appeals;
clarifying the power of the Court of Appeals to act
upon the recommendation of the Commission; and
submitting this amendment to the [[qualfied]]
qualified voters of the State for adoption or
rejection.

Section 4B
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, (Three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses concurring), That the following be
and the same is hereby proposed as an amendment to
Section 4B of Article IV - Judiciary Department, of the
Constitution of Maryland, the same, if adopted by the
legally qualified voters of the State, as herein
provided, to become a part of the Constitution of
Maryland:

(a) The Commission on Judicial Disabilities [shall
have] HAS the power to investigate complaints against any
judge of the Court of Appeals, any intermediate courts of
appeal, the Circuit Courts, the Supreme Bench of
