for consumption on the premises only. The annual fee for such a license
shall be Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250. 00), and shall be payable
to said Clerk, before any such license is issued, for distribution as herein-
after provided.

Such a license shall be issued only in Baltimore City, Baltimore and
Washington Counties, the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach,
and such license may be issued in the City of Annapolis, upon the ap-
proval of and for such fee as may be fixed by the Mayor, Counsellor and
Aldermen.

The hours during which the privileges conferred by such a license may
be exercised shall be from 6 A. M. to 2 A. M. on the day following, but no
holder of such a license shall be permitted to make any sale on the day
of any general, special or primary election. In the City of Annapolis, the
hours shall be fixed by the Mayor, Counsellor and Aldermen.

Any incorporated club of Cecil County, having been incorporated for
a period of not less than two years prior to time of making application
and having a bona fide membership of not less than twenty-five, with dues
of not less than Fifty ($50. 00) Dollars per annum per member, and
maintaining at the time sleeping accommodations on the club premises
for twenty-five club members or guests, and who shall have facilities for
preparing and serving food on the premises to the said members and guests,
which said club is not operated as a place of public business, may, upon the
approval of the Board of License Commissioners for Cecil County and
upon payment of the annual license fee of One Hundred ($100. 00) Dol-
lars, obtain from the Clerk of the Circuit Court a license which shall au-
thorize the holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor and all alcoholic beverages
for consumption on its premises.

Arid in Cecil County it shall be unlawful to sell beer, wine, liquor or any
other alcoholic beverages on Sunday, in restaurants, hotels, clubs or else-
where.

D. (Beer, Wine and Liquor License, Class D (On Sale)—Taverns in
Baltimore City, North Beach, Chesapeake Beach and Baltimore County
Only. ) In Baltimore City, in Baltimore County, and in Calvert County,
the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas for said City, if the place of
business is located in said City, or the Clerk of the Circuit Court for said
Counties, if the place of business is located in either of said Counties,
shall be authorized to issue beer, wine and liquor licenses, Class D, which
shall authorize the holder thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic
beverages at retail at the place therein described for consumption on the
premises or elsewhere, provided that no license shall be issued for any
place in Calvert County lying within the corporate limits of the towns of
North Beach and Chesapeake Beach respectively. The annual fee for such
license shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) in Baltimore City and
Four Hundred Dollars ($400. 00) in Baltimore County and in the towns of
North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, and shall be payable to the said Clerk,
before any license is issued, for distribution as hereinafter provided. No
such license shall be issued for any drug store.

No holder of any such license shall be permitted to make any sale of
any alcoholic beverage on Sunday, or on the day of any general, special
or primary election; nor on any other day between the hours of midnight
and 6 A. M. in Baltimore County and between the hours of 1 A. M. and
6 A. M. in Baltimore City.

E. (Beer, Wine and Liquor License, Class E (On Sale)—Steamboats. )
Such a license shall be issued by the Comptroller, subject to the conditions
