incurred in the discharge of their duties as such shall be reserved by the
Treasurer of said Board to meet the necessary expenses for the ensuing
year.

345. The provisions of this sub-title shall not be construed as prevent-
ing the conducting the business or profession of Funeral Directing by a
corporation heretofore licensed, if such corporation is registered by and
conforms with such rules and regulations as the Board may prescribe with
relation thereto; and hereafter no corporation shall be permitted to operate
any branch establishment unless it is in operation at the time of the passage
of this Act.
The Board shall not hereafter issue licenses to, nor register any corpora-
tion, nor shall any corporation be permitted to conduct the business or pro-
fession of Funeral Directing which has not already been licensed and
registered...

346. This sub-title shall not be construed as prohibiting two or more
licensed funeral directors from operating a joint or partnership business
if the business be conducted under the names of all such licensed funeral
directors; but no funeral director granted an original license under this
sub-title shall conduct business under any other name than the name
appearing on his or her license. This section shall not apply to persons
heretofore conducting business under a fictitious name.

347. The Board may grant to individual persons from other States,
who are duly licensed Funeral Directors and Embalmers, a license to
operate as a Funeral Director or Embalmer in this State, under such
terms and conditions as the Board may prescribe, provided that similar
privileges are accorded in those States to those originally licensed by this
State, and provided that the standards for licensing in the said States are
equivalent to those of this State.

348. The State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers of Mary-
land is hereby authorized and empowered, to establish a school of instruc-
tion in which shall be taught the work of practical embalming and funeral
director, and for the dissemination and reasonable knowledge of sanita-
tion, preservation of the dead, disinfecting the bodies of deceased persons,
the apartment, clothing and bedding in cases of death resulting from infec-
tious or contagious diseases. The said State Board of Funeral Directors
and Embalmers shall have the full power and authority to establish all
rules and regulations for the conduct of said school, the payment of tui-
tion fees, the admission of pupils, and the issue of diplomas to graduates
therefrom.

349. The cost of maintaining and conducting said school shall be de-
fraved from the receipts of said State Board of Funeral Directors and
Embalmers obtained from tuition fees, examination fees and fees for the
issuing of licenses and renewals.
