(2A) Mirrors. Every commercial motor vehicle not equipped with
pneumatic tires, and every commercial motor vehicle so constructed or
loaded that the operator is prevented from having a free and unobstructed
view of the highway immediately to the rear and at the sides of the same,
shall be equipped with a mirror or reflector attached to and so located and
adjusted on such vehicle as to give the operator thereof a clear reflected
view of the highway to the rear of such vehicle. It shall be the duty of
the owner of such motor vehicle to equip the same with a mirror or reflec-
tor as aforesaid, and see that the same is maintained on such vehicle, and
of the operator thereof at all times to see that such mirror or reflector is
kept in proper adjustment as aforesaid. The failure of either to do as
above required shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than
one dollar ($1. 00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50. 00) for the first offense.

(3) Lights. Every vehicle, including motor vehicles and horse drawn
vehicles, operated or driven on the public highways of the State, at any
time when there is not sufficient daylight to render clearly discernible a
person, vehicle or other substantial object on the highway at a distance of
two hundred (200) feet ahead, shall he provided with lights, as herein-
after provided of sufficient power and so adjusted and operated as to
enable the operator or driver to proceed with safety to himself and other
users of the highways under all conditions of light, road and weather, pro-
vided, however, that the following classes of vehicles shall display under the
above condition not less than the lights next specified, to wit:

(a) Motor vehicles, other than the specific classes hereinafter enum-
erated, shall be provided with two white or tinted lights, other than red,
of approximately equal and of not less than ten candlepower mounted on
opposite sides and visible from the front for a distance of 200 feet, and
one red light visible from the rear for a distance of 200 feet; and in
addition, every motor truck, trailer and commercial motor vehicle, having
a width of ninety inches or over, including the load, and not equipped
with permanent marker lights at the front and rear, located approxi-
mately at the left side of such vehicle, shall be provided with a light
attached to the extreme left of such vehicle showing white, or tinted color
other than red, to the front and red to the rear, which shall be visible for
a distance of 200 feet from both front and rear, and so attached and
adjusted as to indicate the extreme left lateral extension of the vehicle or
load.

(b) Motor cycles and tractors, one white or tinted light, other than
red, visible from the front for a distance of 200 feet, and one red light
visible to the rear for a distance of 200 feet;

(c) Trailers and vehicles towed, one red light visible to the rear for a
distance of 200 feet;

(d) Side-cars, one white light visible to the front for a distance of
200 feet;

(e) Standing motor vehicles, including all the above, at least one white
or tinted light, other than red, visible to the front for a distance of 200
