constitute a lien against the property of such non-contributing defendant
or defendants, upon which the defendant or defendants who shall have paid
said judgment may issue execution or attachment as the case may be.

Where person injured in collision between taxicab in which she was riding
and a truck, receives satisfaction from one tort-feasor, the taxicab, and re-
leases it from liability, she cannot subsequently recover from owner of truck on
account of same injury. Lanasa v. Beggs, 159 Md. 311.

Words "joint tenancy'' not necessary to create such estate if intention is man-

Interparty Agreements.

1931, ch. 484, sec. 13A.

13A. A conveyance, release or sale may be made to or by two or more
persons acting jointly and one or more, but less than all, of these persons
acting either by himself or themselves or with other persons; and a con-
tract may be made between such parties.

1931, ch. 484, sec. 13B.

13B. No contract shall be discharged because after its formation the
obligation and the right thereunder become vested in the same person,
acting in different capacities as to the right and the obligation.

1931, ch. 484, sec. 13C.

13C. Nothing herein shall validate a transaction within its provi-
sions which is actually or constructively fraudulent.

13D. Act Not Retroactive. This sub-title shall not apply to convey-
