same so that it shall at all times be conspicuous and easily read in his
place of business, except in the case of a Class F license which shall be
kept in the chief operating office of the corporation in this State.

14. License Fees—Computation and Disposition. The fee for each
license issued for a full period of one year shall be as hereinbefore pro-
vided, and the fee for every license issued for less than one year (except
temporary or special licenses) shall be calculated from the date of issue
until April 30th next, after its issuance, both inclusive. The Comptroller
shall be entitled to retain from the license fees collected by him for the
use of the State of Maryland, such sums as may be necessary to pay re-
funds on licenses issued by him and the expenses incurred by him and the
Bureau of State Licenses, in the discharge of the duties imposed by this
Article.

In Baltimore City the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas shall forth-
with remit to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore all license fees
collected by him, less a fee of one dollar ($1. 00) for the issuance of said
license, in lieu of commissions, and the said Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore shall pay from such receipts all refunds as hereinafter provided,
the salaries and expenses of the Board of License Commissioners of Balti-
more City and its employees as approved by the State Comptroller, and
devote the balance to the general purposes of the City.

In Baltimore County the Clerk of the Circuit Court for said County
shall retain such portion of each license fee collected by him, for his com-
missions, for the use of his office, as shall be determined by the County
Commissioners of said County; such Clerk's commissions, however, shall
not exceed fifteen percentum (15%) and shall not be less than three per-
centum (3%) of each such license fee collected. The said Clerk shall
forthwith remit the remainder of such fees to the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County, who shall, out of such remainder so received from
said Clerk, pay all salaries and expenses of the Board of License Commis-
sioners as determined by the Board of County Commissioners, and devote
the balance of said License fees to the general purposes of the County.

In Calvert County, the Clerk of the Circuit Court for said County
shall forthwith remit to the Comptroller alt license fees collected by him,
less a fee of one dollar ($1. 00) for the issuance of each license, in lieu of
commissions, and the Comptroller shall forthwith pay the same to the
Board of County Commissioners for said County, after deducting such
sum as may be necessary to pay the salaries and expenses of the Board
of License Commissioners for Calvert County. Where the licensed place
of business is located in an incorporated town 50 percentum of the net
license fee shall be payable to the incorporated town and the remaining 50
percentum and all the net license fees for places of business located out-
side an incorporated town shall be used by the County Commissioners
for the purposes of the County. Provided, however, there shall be no
