535. The County Commissioners are authorized to make such regu-
lations as may be necessary and proper for the keeping of the station
houses which they are or may hereafter be authorized to rent or erect for
the detention of persons therein and for their removal to the county jail.

536. The County Commissioners shall appoint a police officer for the
village of Towsontown, the pay and duties of said police officer be the

mit in writing from the marshal of police of Baltimore County or the

538. If any person, club, association or corporation, or officer or agent
thereof, shall violate any of the provisions of Section 537 of this Article
they shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction there-

the county jail or House of Correction for not more than one year, or be
both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court.
