OVERLEA.

1914, ch. 251, sec. 1. B. Co. C. (1916), sec. 431. 1928, sec. 516.

516. The Board of County Commissioners of Baltimore County, at
the time of the annual tax levy (for the years 1914 and 1915), are hereby
authorized, directed and required to make a special annual levy in each
and every year, as hereinbefore mentioned, of twenty cents on each one
hundred dollars of the whole assessable property situated in the village
of Overlea, except the property situated on Maple Avenue, west of the
Belair Road, in Baltimore County, to be collected as other county taxes in
said county are collected, and said special annual levy to be paid over by
the said County Commissioners to the treasurer of the Overlea Improve-
ment League of Baltimore County, a body corporate, to be used by the said
league exclusively for the betterment of the roads in said Village of Over-
lea; provided, however, that all taxes collected under the provisions of
this Act and turned over to the treasurer of the said Overlea Improve-
ment League of Baltimore County, monthly, a body corporate, shall be
used exclusively for the betterment of the roads within the area as pro-
vided for in Section 517 of this subtitle.

517. For the purposes of this subtitle the Village of Overlea shall be
deemed and taken to include the following properties: All that property
embraced in the plat of Overlea, except the property situate on Maple
Avenue, west of the Belair Road, recorded among the land records of
Baltimore County in Plat Book J. W. S. No. 2, folio 77, etc., and all
that property embraced in the plat of East Overlea, known as "Addition
to Overlea," recorded among the land records of Baltimore County in
Plat Book J. W. S. No. 2, folio 196, etc.

518. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County, State of Mary-
land, are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to compel the own-
ers of all lots fronting or abutting on the herein described streets, avenues
or roads as laid out on the two plats of Overlea and Addition to Overlea,
recorded among the plat records of Baltimore County in Plat Book J. W.
S. No. 2, folio 77, and Plat book J. W. S. No. 2, folio 196, to lay or cause
to be laid cement sidewalks or footways as herein provided.

AVENUES ON ADDITION TO OVERLEA.

Both sides of Maple Avenue to the west side of the intersection of
Maple and Linden Avenues.

Both sides of Overlea Avenue to the west side of the intersection of
Overlea and Linden Avenues.

Linden Avenue, on the east side, from Maple Avenue to Elm Avenue.

Beach Avenue, on both sides, from Kenwood Avenue to its intersection
with Elm Avenue, excepting twenty-five feet on each side from the center
