after, and also on such other days as in the judgment of the Court the
public business and convenience requires, not to exceed one day in each
week, and the Judges of the said Orphans' Court of Worcester County
shall each receive the sum of six dollars for each day's attendance upon
the sessions of said Court.

161. The Commissioners of said County shall levy annually such sum
as they may estimate will be sufficient to pay the Judges of said Orphans'
Court for the next ensuing year; and it shall be the duty of the Register
of Wills to certify quarterly to the County Commissioners of the County
the number of days each of said Judges has attended said Court, during
the quarter; and the Treasurer shall pay to each of said Judges six dollars
for each of said days attendance so certified by the Register of Wills.*

162. Any resident of this State desiring to catch oysters with rakes
or tongs for sale in any of the waters of the Synepuxent Bay or its
tributaries within the confines of Worcester County shall first obtain by
application to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Worcester County a
license, and such license shall have effect from the first day of September in
the year in which it may have been obtained to the first day of May next
succeeding, and upon taking out said license, and not otherwise, it shall
be lawful for said citizen so obtaining the same to take and remove oysters
from the natural rocks in the waters of said Synepuxent Bay and its
tributaries included in the boundaries of said Worcester County, with
rakes and tongs, and not otherwise; but no person licensed as above, nor
any other person, shall take or remove any oysters from the waters of
said bay or its tributaries on any Sunday or in the night at any season,
nor during the day from the first day of May to the first day of September;
or any shells from natural rocks of said bay at any time; provided, that
nothing herein shall be construed to forbid any person from catching his
own planted oysters at any time or with any kind of instrument; provided,
however, that the County Commissioners of said county shall be authorized
to give special permission to any woman who has no visible means of sup-
port to take or catch oysters without license.

163. Each and every license issued in conformity to the provisions of
Section 162 of this Article, shall state the name, color, age and residence
of the person to whom the license is to be granted; the number thereof
and the county in which the same is to be used, and every applicant for
