WILLARDS.*
1927, ch. 278, sec. 1.
403. The inhabitants of the Town of Willards, in Wicomico County,
are hereby constituted a body corporate, by the name of the "Commission-
ers of Williards," and by that name shall have perpetual succession, sue
and be sued, have and use a common seal, which may be altered at pleasure,
and have all powers and privileges incident to or that may attach to a
municipal corporation.

404. The taxable and corporate limits of the said Town shall begin
at a cement post settled in the ground on the line of the land of J. G.
Truitt, and on the Northerly line of the State Road from Salisbury to
Ocean City, and two hundred thirteen and six tenths (213.6) feet West-
erly from the point of intersection of the said Northerly line of said
State Road with the Westerly line of the Stone Road leading from Wil-
lards to Powellsville, thence running by and with the said State Road
South eighty-six (86) degrees thirty (30) minutes East thirteen hundred
ninety-four (1394) feet to an angle in the said State Road, thence by
and with the said State Road South eighty-two (82) degrees East five
hundred fifty-two and four tenths (552.4) feet to a cement post settled
in the center of a private road known as "Dennis' Road," thence by and
with said Dennis Road North seven (7) degrees forty (40) minutes East
fourteen hundred sixty-eight and one-half (1468 1/2) feet to a cement
post, thence through the land of Cyrus Ennis North four (4) degrees
East ten hundred fifty-five (1055) feet to a cement post on the land of
Elizabeth Dennis, thence through the said land of Elizabeth Dennis, the
land of Elijah Tubbs and the land of the Ebenezer G. Davis Estate North
eighty-two (82) degrees West eleven hundred ninety (1190) feet to a
cement post on the land of Dean W. Richardson, thence by and through
the said land of Dean W. Richardson and the land of J. G. Truitt South
twenty-two (22) degrees ten (10) minutes West twenty-seven hundred
seven (2707) feet to the place of beginning.

405. All the property, franchises and funds of every kind belonging to
or in possession of the Commissioners of Willards are vested in this
corporation; and the said corporation may receive in trust and may
control for the purpose of said trust all moneys or other property which
may have been or shall be bestowed upon such corporation by will, deed
or other form of gift or conveyance in trust, for any general corporate
purpose, or in aid of the indigent poor, or for the general purposes of
education, or for charitable purposes of any description, within said Town
of Willards; and the said corporation may buy any property it may deem
necessary so to do, and may sell, lease or otherwise dispose of any prop-
