empowered to advance to the Commission on open account, amounts not
exceeding $5,000.00 in any one quarter of any year, which amounts shall
be charged against said road tax and finally deducted from the same when
the tax is collected.

1927, ch. 676, sec. 27

449. The same road tax rate fixed by the County Commissioners for
the Election District in which said Sanitary District is located shall be
the road tax for that Sanitary District. The County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County and the treasurer of said county shall collect said
road tax as other county taxes are collected and the Board of County Com-
missioners shall thereupon pay over to the Commission so much of said tax
as may be needed to defray the Commission's expenses as provided in Sec-
tion 448, at the end of each quarter beginning with July 1, 1927. The said
County Commissioners are hereby empowered, authorized and directed to
assume full jurisdiction over all roads and streets within said Sanitary
District, and shall be responsible for the construction, repair and mainte-
nance of the same, and the Sanitary Commission shall be relieved of any
liability for damages resulting from the bad condition of any road or street
in any of the Sanitary Districts. The Commission shall convey forthwith
to the County Commissioners all its right, title and interest in and to the
beds of all such streets, roads and highways.

450. The Commission is hereby authorized to prescribe all needful
rules and regulations for the administration and enforcement of this Act.

1927, ch. 676, sec. 29.

451. Nothing in this Act contained shall be deemed or construed to
authorize the condemnation of any property in Anne Arundel County
owned, controlled by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, or the
County Commissioners of Baltimore County.

1927, ch. 676, sec. 30.

452. When said Commission files their budget with the County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County, the said County Commissioners shall
have the power to amend, alter or reduce said budget in their discretion.

453. Nothing in this Act inconsistent with the provisions of this Act,
be, and Election District of Anne Arundel County.*

453A. All Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act, are hereby repealed to the extent of their inconsistency; pro-
vided that nothing herein contained shall be taken as restricting any con-
