92. Any person who shall dig out, or in any manner take from any den
a female fox or her young whelps, or kill or in any manner cause the
death of such female fox or her young whelps during the period of time
in which she is sucking* them, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on
conviction before a justice of the peace, shall be fined not less than twenty-
five dollars nor more than fifty dollars for every female fox or whelp so
dug or taken out of any den or killed or caused to be killed, and shall
stand committed until such fine and costs are paid. One-half of such fine
to be paid to the informer, the other half to be paid to the Board of County
School Commissioners of said county for the use of the public schools of
said county.

93. It shall not be lawful for any person to hunt or kill any fox in
said county from the first day of March to the first day of October in
each year. Nothing in this Act to be construed to prevent the killing of
foxes at any time by any person while they are in pursuit of his poultry;
provided, however, that the killing of said fox or foxes be done within
a reasonable time from the killing of said poultry.
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.

194. All shippers and sellers of all fruits and vegetables in Wicomico
county shall be compelled to stamp or mark all baskets, barrels, boxes,
packages, crates, parcels or other receptacles used by them for the ship-
ment or sale of any fruit, fruits or vegetables with his, her or their name
or names, initials, or with some distinguishing device or mark, which may
be readily and easily read and seen on the same before such fruit, fruits
or vegetables shall be offered for shipment or sale; and if any shipper or
seller of any fruit, fruits or vegetables, shall neglect or fail to comply
with the provisions of this section, he or she, or they, shall pay a fine of
five dollars; said fine to be applied to the public school fund for Wicomico
county, but nothing in this Act shall apply to hucksters selling in quan-
tities less than full packages, or to anything delivered to canneries.

95. When the list of names selected as directed in Sections 6 and 7
of Article 51 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Juries," is made
and certified as therein provided for, immediately thereupon the judges
of the circuit court, in the presence of the members of the bar and such
other persons as may attend, shall cause all the names selected and placed
*"Suckling" evidently intended.
