WATER COMPANY OF WASHINGTON COUNTY.

P. L. L., 1888, Art. 22, sec. 393. 1882, ch. 21.

809. It shall not be lawful for any person to obstruct or hinder the
ordinary and natural flow of the water in any of the supply streams or
pipes of the Washington county water company, or commit any nuisance
in any of said streams or pipes, or in any way defile the water in any of
said streams or pipes, or to carry on, upon or adjacent to any of said
streams, any trade or business which will effect the purity or cleanliness
of the water flowing in said streams, or do or commit any act affecting the
cleanliness or purity of the water in said streams or pipes.

810. It shall not be lawful for any person to interfere with the water
in any of the reservoirs and storage dams of the said water company, or
in the pipes leading therefrom, or to commit any nuisance or trespass in
and upon said reservoirs and storage dams, or on the grounds adjacent
to said reservoirs and storage dams, or to defile the water in said reser-
voirs and storage dams, by bathing, swimming, boating, skating, or by
throwing therein any filth, garbage, carcass or other matter, or to conduct
or carry on, at or adjacent to any of said reservoirs and storage dams,
any trade or business affecting the cleanliness or purity of the water in
said reservoirs and storage dams.

811. It shall not be lawful for any person to interfere with, break,
injure, deface, carry away or destroy any of the pipes, valves, stops, cast-
ings, fire plugs, hydrants, instruments or apparatus of the said water com-
pany leading to and from any of the reservoirs and storage dams of said
Company, or on the grounds of said company, or along the lines of its
streams or pipes, or in the town of Hagerstown.

812. It shall not be lawful for any person to open any of the stops and
valves, or tap any of the pipes of the said water company, or draw there-
from any water, without the permission of said company first had and
obtained under such regulations as said company shall prescribe.

813. It shall not be lawful for any person to open or interfere in any
manner with any of the fire-plugs and hydrants of said water company,
or discharge any water therefrom without the permission of said company
first had and obtained under such regulations as said company shall pre-
scribe.
