677. This Act shall not apply to, nor prohibit the manufacture for sale
of alcoholic, spirituous and vinous, malt and intoxicating liquors by per-
sons and Corporations now engaged in the manufacture thereof or the
transportation thereof by said persons and Corporations where such liquors
are manufactured for sale and sold only for delivery for shipment to
places beyond the State or to places within the State where such sale is
not now or hereafter prohibited by law.

678. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of Section 676,
nothing in the aforesaid Act of 1916 shall be held to prohibit the dis-
pensing of wines in administering the Holy Sacraments, or like religious
rites, in the various churches of Washington County, or be construed to
apply to any registered druggist or pharmacist holding a permit from the
United States Grovernment to dispense intoxicating liquor on a prescrip-
tion of a regularly practicing physician, for non-beverage purposes, or for
pharmaceutical, scientific, sacramental or mechanical purposes under the
license and authority of the United States Government; and any and all
duly registered druggists or pharmacists holding such permits, engaged
in such business, or who shall hereafter engage in the drug business in
Washington County as aforesaid, shall be and they are hereby authorized
to buy, transport, hold, sell and dispense within said Washington County
intoxicating liquor for medicinal, pharmaceutical, scientific, sacramental
or mechanical purposes, under the license and authority of the United
States Government.

679. It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, or social club, firm
or corporation to manufacture for sale, sell or purchase for sale, transport
for sale, dispense, or otherwise dispose of, any alcoholic, spirituous, vinous,
fermented, distilled or malt liquors or intoxicating bitters or liquid mix-
tures or preparations, whether patented or not, within the limits of Sandy
Hook District, being Election District No. 11, in Washington County,
Maryland, except for medicinal, pharmaceutical, scientific, sacramental,
or mechanical purposes.

680. Any person, persons, social club, firm or corporation, violating
the provisions of Section 679 of this subtitle shall be deemed guilty of a
