collectible as small debts are now collected, one-half to the informer, and
the other half to be applied to the use of the public schools of said county.

JURORS.

534. The County Commissioners shall levy a sufficient sum, in ad-
vance, to pay the jurors attending the Circuit Court, promptly at the close
of each jury term thereof. Jurors shall receive four ($4.00) dollars per
day for each and every day they shall attend said Court, in addition to
mileage as now provided by law.

535. Whenever any person shall present to the collector of said county
an order from the clerk of the circuit court for his attendance as a juror,
he shall pay to such person, or his order, the amount due him, after de-
ducting therefrom all charges he may have against such juror.

536. The clerk of the circuit court shall furnish each juror with an
order for the amount of his pay.

537. When selecting the list of two hundred names for Washington
county, as provided in section seven of article 51 of the Code of Public
General Laws, the judge or judges of the Circuit Court for Washington
county drawing the jury for said county shall apportion the names of the
panel of two hundred among the several election districts of the county,
so that from each election district there shall be selected as uear as may
be the number of names bearing the same proportion to two hundred that
the registered vote of said district bears to the entire registered vote of
the county, which said list or panel of two hundred names shall be num-
bered from one to two hundred, inclusive, and after the said list of two
hundred names shall have been selected and certified by the judge or
judges as provided in section* 51 of the Code of Public General Laws,
and after the drawing of the jury, as provided in the following section,
shall be placed in the box hereinafter provided for by section 538, until
the drawing of the jury for the next succeeding jury term of the Circuit
Court for Washington county, and a certified copy thereof shall be re-
corded among the minutes of the term of said court, at which such selec-
tion and drawing took place; provided, that election districts numbers
three, seventeen, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-four and twenty-five, gen-
erally known as the Hagerstown districts, may be considered and treated
as one election district in the apportioning and selection of names as
aforesaid.
