perches to a stone; thence leaving said Frey's hollow north sixty-seven
degrees west one hundred and six perches to a marked pine tree, north
fifty-five degrees west forty-six perches crossing Little's dam to the north-
east corner of the Catholic cemetery; thence north seventy-five degrees
west one hundred and twenty perches to a stone at a gate post on the east
side of an alley or lane; thence along the east side of said alley or lane
south fifteen and one-half degrees west nine perches to a stone; thence
north seventy-five degrees west twenty-seven parches to the east margin
of Parsonage avenue; thence along the east margin of said Parsonage
avenue south fourteeen and three-quarter degrees west two perches; thence
running along the south side of Jackson street north seventy-five degrees
west thirty-two perches to a large red oak tree standing on the east margin
of the public road leading from Hancock to Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania;
thence south fifty-five degrees west ten and three-fourths perches to a large
sycamore tree standing on the east bank of Little Tonoloway creek; thence
down said Little Tonoloway creek bounding on the edge of the water one
hundred perches to the place of beginning.

481. The government of said town shall be vested in the burgess,
assistant burgess and three commissioners, to be elected as hereinafter
provided.

481A. There shall be at least one registration day not later than
7 days before the election of Burgess and Commissioners, and all persons
who possess the same qualifications required of voters to vote in State
and County elections and have resided within the corporate limits of the
town of Hancock for twelve months next preceding the election shall be
eligible to be registered. The voters of the town of Hancock so registered
shall elect by ballot on the first Monday of April, 1929, and upon the
same day in every second year thereafter, three persons not under twenty-
five years of age, citizens of the United States, and registered voters of
the State of Maryland, County of Washington and town of Hancock, and
residents of said town for two years next preceding the election, to be
Commissioners of Hancock.

And on the first Monday in April, 1929, and upon the same day in
every second year thereafter, in the same manner there shall be elected
two persons, having the same qualifications as herein prescribed for Com-
missioners of Hancock, one person to be Burgess, and one person to be
Assistant Burgess. All the officers duly elected as above shall serve until
their successors shall be legally elected and duly qualified, and shall exer-
cise all the powers and perform all the functions upon them respectively
conferred by law.
