fully and definitely ascertained and determined, the Mayor and Council
is hereby authorized and empowered to levy on the assessable property
of said town a sufficient sum of money, to be collected as other taxes are
collected, to pay the Mayor and Council's due and proper portion of said
costs as previously ascertained for the installing of said White Way Sys-
tem of Lighting of any such street or highway or part thereof and the said
levy for the purpose aforesaid shall only be made once in any one year
and that shall be at the time of the making of the annual levy of taxes
by the Mayor and Council and to be included therein, or the Mayor and
Council may pay its said portion of the costs of said work and materials
used as above set forth from the General Purpose Account Fund of said
City.

408. The Mayor and Council of Hagerstown are hereby authorized to
pay to the Washington County Public Health Association, Incorporated,
to be used by said Association in paying the salary of the nurse or nurses
employed by said Association, such amounts from time to time as said
Mayor and Council of Hagerstown may in their discretion determine, not,
however, to exceed a total of one thousand dollars in any one year, and
that said Mayor and Council of Hagerstown are hereby authorized to
levy upon the taxable property in said Hagerstown such taxes as may be
necessary to provide the amounts hereinbefore authorized to be paid to
said Association.
MUSEUM or ART.

409. The Mayor and Council of Hagerstown is hereby authorized and
empowered to enter into a contract with The Washington County Museum
of Fine Arts under the terms of which a suitable parcel of ground in one
of the parks belonging to the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown known
as the "City Park" may be leased to the said The Washington County
Museum of Fine Arts for the nominal consideration of one dollar ($1.00)
per year provided the said museum proceed promptly with the erection
of its building and the establishment therein of an art museum for the
use of the public, said lease to be in effect so long as the terms of the
contract on the part of The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts
are observed and performed.

410. The proposed contract between the Mayor and Council of Hagers-
town and The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts shall be so drawn
that the City of Hagerstown will be relieved from all responsibility for
damage or injury to the buildings erected thereon or the art objects con-
tained therein; that the museum shall have the exclusive use of the parcel
