the clerk of said Commissioners, or one of the Commissioners, of all the
criminal cases heard or tried before him during the preceding month,
which report shall state in each case the name of the defendant, the offense
charged, the name of the person upon whose complaint the warrant was
issued, the number of witnesses summoned, the name of the officer serving
the warrant and summonses, the judgment rendered, the amount of fine
or penalty imposed, the amount of costs taxed, which shall include all con-
stables' costs and constables' fees, where process is served by police officers
acting with authority of constables, and the amount of fine and costs col-
lected by him, and all such fines and costs, including constables' and offi-
cers' fees for serving warrants, and all other process which in all cases
shall be properly taxed and collected shall, at the time of making his
report, be paid to the order of the County Commissioners.

377. The Police Justice of the Fourth Election District of Anne Arun-
del County, for his services in criminal cases, shall receive from the Coun-
ty Commissioners the sum of forty ($40.00) dollars per month, payable
in cash, or by levy equivalent to cash, on the day of his making his report,
as hereinbefore provided; and he shall not receive directly or indirectly,
any other fees or compensation in criminal cases, or cases of violation of
any of the laws of this State; and all fees of constables for services of
process in criminal cases in the Fourth District shall be paid to the County
Commissioners.
LIEN OF LIVERY STABLE KEEPER.

378. For the price or value of any feed or accommodation furnished by
any keeper or proprietor of a livery stable in Anne Arundel County to
any person for board of his or her horse, mare or gelding, the proprietor
or keeper of such stable shall have a lien upon any such horse, mare or
gelding belonging to or under the control of such person and in such stable,
and the proprietor or keeper of such stable may hold in his possession the
same until the price or value of such feed or accommodations shall have
been fully paid, whether then due or to become due, and for the purposes
of enabling such keeper or proprietor to collect the said debt or claim after
the same shall have been due for a period of fifteen days, he, or they may
sell such horse, mare or gelding at public auction, for cash, upon giving
notice of the time, place and terms of sale by advertisement published at
least ten days before the day of sale in some newspaper published in the
City of Annapolis or by hand-bills circulated in said county; and the pro-
ceeds of sale to be applied after the payment of all expenses, to the dis-
charge of such indebtedness due at the time of the sale, and the balance,
if any. to be paid over to the person or persons entitled to the same.
