any amendment thereto, to the extent that the same may apply to munic-
ipal electric light, heat and power or gas plant.

354. The register of wills of said county shall be entitled to demand
and receive from every person depositing in his office for record any will,
bond, guardian account, administrator's account, inventory, account of
sales or release, the sum of fifteen cents for the special purpose of keeping
up and continuing a general index of all such papers.

355. The register of wills of Queen Anne's county, Maryland, is au-
thorized and directed to collect and place in separate bundles properly
enclosed in envelopes or boxes suitable for the purpose, and numbered, the
papers and proceedings relating to and connected with the different estates
of deceased persons settled in his office, from the year eighteen hundred
and fifty to the year eighteen hundred and eighty-three, when a system
of this kind was adopted in said office, and to properly file in like manner
the papers and accounts of guardianships unsettled in said office, and that
he be required to make an index of said estates so enclosed in boxes and
numbered, as well as of the guardianship accounts, and papers for ready
reference.

356. The Register of Wills for Queen Anne's county is hereby author-
ized and directed to prepare and make six separate general indices of the
following records in his office, to wit: One for all the registers or records of
administration; one for all the records of inventories; one for all the
records of valuation; one for all the records of administration accounts, and
one for all the records of accounts of sales, and to provide six books for
such purpose.

358. If any person shall alter, change, obstruct or encroach upon any
road in Queen Anne's county, or cut down, destroy or injure any bridge,
causeway, boundary, mark or direction therein or thereon, he shall on con-
