known as Winchester, or precinct number two.

224. The polling place of Queenstown precinct, or precinct number
one, shall be at Queenstown, and the polling place of Winchester pre-
cinct or precinct number two, shall be at Winchester.

ELECTIONS.

225. It shall not be lawful for any person in Queen Anne's county
to carry, on the days of election, secretly or otherwise, any gun, pistol,
dirk, dirk-knife, razor, billy or bludgeon; and any person violating the
provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
on conviction thereof before any justice of the peace of said county, shall
be fined not less than five nor more than twenty dollars, and on refusal
to pay said fine shall be committed by such justice of the peace to the
jail of the county until the same shall be paid.

226. The fines collected under the preceding section shall be paid by
the officer collecting the same, to the school commissioners of the county,
for school purposes.

227. Any constable of said county or the sheriff thereof, who shall
refuse to arrest any person violating section 225, upon information of
such offence, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction
thereof before the circuit court, shall be fined not less than twenty nor
more than fifty dollars, and shall forthwith be discharged from office.

228. The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County are hereby
authorized and empowered to appropriate and use, under such rules and
regulations as they may prescribe, any sum or sums of money not exceed-
ing One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.000) per year for Farmers' Co-Opera-
tive Demonstration Work in said County, along the same line as this work
is or may be conducted by the United States Department of Agriculture,
and may conduct such work jointly in said County with the Agents and
representatives of the United States Department of Agriculture upon such
terms and conditions as may be agreed upon between the agent of the
Department of Agriculture of the United States and the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's County.

229. Whenever the Department of Agriculture of the United States
