171. The municipal corporation, the Commissioners of Church Hill,
is hereby authorized, and empowered and directed, when the said munici-
pal corporation, the Commissioners of Church Hill, shall sell the electric
lines and poles running from Cent.revilile to Church Hill and all other
electric equipment owned by it, to use the proceeds arising from said sale
in paying, first, all indebtedness due by said municipal corporation, the
Commissioners of Church Hill, and the balance, if any, to be used by the
Commissioners of Church Hill in making any public improvement which
in its judgment is needed and is for the benefit of said municipal cor-
poration.*

172. The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County are hereby
authorized and directed, on or before the first Monday in February, in
the year nineteen hundred and fifteen, and annually on said day in each
year, thereafter, to pay over to the Commissioners of Church Hill, a
municipal corporation of said County, out of taxes collected from the
County levy made the year preceding, a sum of money equal to one-tenth
of one per centum of the total amount of assessed property, real and per-
sonal, subject to taxation by the said Commissioners of Church Hill, ac-
cording to the assessment tax books or list of assessed property of the said
Commissioners of Church Hill on the first day of May of each and every
year, commencing with the first day of May, in the year nineteen hundred
and fifteen; and the said Commissioners of Church Hill shall have the
exclusive charge and control of the roads, streets and bridges -within the
limits of said town of Church Hill, and the construction and repair of the
same, and said County Commissioners shall not be liable therefor. And
the said Commissioners of Church Hill shall certify in writing to the said
County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County before the third Monday
in May, nineteen hundred and fifteen, and annually thereafter on or
before the third Monday of May in each year, the total amount of assessed
property, real and personal, subject to taxation by the said Commissioners
of Church Hill on the first Monday of May preceding said third Monday
of May.

173. There shall be two terms of the circuit court for Queen Anne's
County, commencing at Centreville, in said county, on the first Monday
in May and the first Monday in November, in each year.

174. The judges of the circuit court for said county, in their discre-
tion, may appoint intermediate terms between the circuit court terms,
Ch. 9, 1929, authorized the town to borrow $3,000 to pay balance due on said
electric lines which had been erected under Permit 651 of State Roads Commission
and Order No. 8424 (Case No. 2293) of the Public Service Commission.
