30. The Trustees of Poor of Queen Anne's county are hereby directed
and required immediately upon the close of business on the last day of
June of each year, to proceed to balance their books and accounts and to
close their work for the year ending on said date, and to have the duties
required of them by this section completed before the fifteenth day of
July following.

31. The Board of County School Commissioners and the Treasurer
thereof are hereby directed and required, immediately upon the close of
business on the last day of July of each year, to proced to balance their
books and accounts and to close their work for the year ending on said

32. The said several boards and officers are directed and required,
when requested by said auditing committee or any member thereof, to lay
before the said auditing committee all books, accounts, vouchers and other
papers relating to the receipt and disbursement of the public funds in
their hands or subject to their control; and the said several boards and
officers shall in every way expedite and facilitate the work of the said
auditing committee, to the end that the true financial status and condition
of the said several boards and officers, and of Queen Anne's county, may
be fully and accurately determined.

33. The county commissioners of Kent and Queen Anne's counties
shall yearly make such levies upon the assessable property of their respec-
tive counties as may be necessary to keep in repair the free bridge over
Chester river, at the place called Crumpton.

34. They shall employ some persons to have charge of said bridge, who
shall attend every day from sunrise to sunset, to open the draw for the
passage of vessels, and who shall receive as a compensation seventy-five
dollars per year for such service.
