4042 AETICLE 17.

on a line in a southerly direction through the center of said Arthur ave-
nue to the center of the intersection of said Arthur and Madison avenues,
the place of beginning.

Ward Numbered Three shall be contained within the following bounds:
Beginning for the same at the center of the intersection of Madison and
Arthur avenues as the same are laid out in the plat hereinbefore men-
tioned; thence on a line drawn through the center of said Madison ave-
nue to a point 50 feet east of the eastern boundary of Block No. 38; thence
following in a reversed direction the corporate boundaries as set out in
Section Two of this Act, to the southeast corner of Lot No. 32 in Block
No. 71; thence in a northwesterly direction by and with the western
boundary of Block No. 71 in said Riverdale Park subdivision to the
dividing line between Lots No. 8 and No. 9 in said Block No. 71 of said
subdivision, thence by and with said dividing line in an easterly direction
to the west side of what is known as Roosevelt avenue as the same is
recorded among the Land Records of Prince George's County, Maryland,
in Liber J. W. B. No. 5, folio 688; thence in an easterly direction along
what on said plat is known as Clinton avenue to a point in the center of
the intersection of Clinton and Arthur avenues; thence in a northerly
direction on a line drawn through the center of Arthur avenue to its inter-
section with Madison avenue, the place of beginning.

Ward Numbered Four shall be contained within the following bounds:
Beginning for the same at a point in the center of the Washington-
Baltimore Boulevard opposite the center of Madison avenue, thence in a
southerly line with the center of said boulevard to the northern corpora-
tion limits of the Town of Hyattsville, thence following the corporate
boundaries as set out in Section Two of this Act until the dividing line
between Lots No. 5 and No. 6 in Block No. 71 of the Riverdale Park
sub-division is reached; thence in a southeasterly direction by and with
the western boundary of Lots No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8 in Block No. 71
of said Riverdale Park sub-division, to the dividing line between Lots
No. 8 and No. 9 in Block 71 of said sub-division; thence in a straight
line between said lots No. 8 and No. 9 in said Block No. 71 in said sub-
division to the western side of what in said sub-division is known as
Roosevelt avenue; thence following the boundaries of Ward Numbered
Three to the center of the intersection of Arthur and Madison avenues,
thence in a westerly direction by a line drawn through the center of
Madison avenue to the place of beginning.

Ward Numbered Five shall be contained within the following bounds:
All that portion of the land described in Section Two of this Act
which lies west of a line drawn through the center of the Washington-
Baltimore Boulevard from a point opposite the south side of the Colesville
Road, where the same intersects said boulevard to a point opposite the
northernmost point of Lot No. 1 in Block No. 51 of the sub-division
known as Riverdale Park.

There shall be one councilman elected from each of said five wards,
who must, in addition to the requisites hereinafter set forth, reside within
