And in the event that said election shall be held at some other time than
a regular election, then the Mayor and Common Council shall appoint the
necessary officers to conduct said election, and said election and the count
and canvass of said ballots shall be conducted as provided in the town
charter for all general town elections.
And in the event that said election shall be held at some time other than
a regular election, the poll books showing the registered voters of said
town last registered shall be used.
And in the event that at such election the majority of votes cast for and
against the amendment shall be in favor of allowing the special tax for the
purpose of establishing and maintaining a garbage and/or ash and/or
trash collection and disposal service within the corporate limits of the
town of Mount Rainier, then and in that event the power and authority
vested in the Mayor and Common Council of Mount Rainier, Maryland,
by Sections 801 and 802 of this Article shall become operative and effec-
tive; but in the event that a majority of the votes so cast shall be against
the amendment allowing the special tax for the purpose of establishing
and maintaining a garbage and/or ash and/or trash collection and dis-
posal service within the corporate limits of the town of Mount Rainier,
then the power and authority vested in the Mayor and Common Council
of Mount Rainier by Sections 801 and 802 of this Article shall not become
operative and effective; but a like petition such as described in this sec-
tion may be presented to the said Mayor and Common Council from time
to time thereafter and upon the presentment of any such petition, it shall
be the duty of said Mayor and Common Council of Mount Rainier to sub-
mit the question to the qualified voters of said town at an election in the
same manner as provided in this section and the powers and authorities
vested in the Mayor and Common Council of Mount Rainier, Maryland,
lay this Act shall become operative and effective only when a majority of
the voters of said town approve said question in the manner provided for
herein.

805. The citizens of the Town of North Brentwood are a body corpo-
rate, by the name of the Mayor and Town Council of North Brentwood,
and by that name may have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, have
and use a common seal, and may purchase and hold real estate, or dispose
of the same for the benefit of said town.

806. The boundaries of the said town shall be as follows: Beginning
at the most northerly corner of Lot No. 9 of Block I of Holladay Com-
pany's Addition to Brentwood, as shown on the plat of same recorded
among the Land Records of Prince George's County, Maryland, in Liber
*Ch. 508, 1924, incorporating North Brentwood, was adopted by the voters as re-
quired by sec. 21 of said Act.
