104. The Trustees, or a majority of them, shall make such rules and
by-laws as they, or a majority of them shall think convenient and neces-
sary for the direction, government and support of the County Home, and
the employment of all poor persons that may be committed there.

105. The overseer shall keep a regular list of all persons committed
to said almshouse.

106. He shall keep and return to the said trustees, upon oath, to be
administered by one of them, monthly reports, in writing, of all the
stock, farming utensils and other things remaining in his hands, together
with a statement of the crops and other articles made on the farm or
estate of said almshouse, and of the expenses and charges attending the
maintenance and support of the inmates thereof, and of all money received
by him from the sale of the produce from said farm or estate, and from
the labor of the inmates, and also the number of inmates in said alms-
house, which report, statement and accounts, with the vouchers that sup-
port them, the trustees shall lay before the County Commissioners, with
the reports required of them by Section 99.

107. At the first meeting of the Trustees held after qualification as
such, they shall select from their number a chairman, a secretary and a
treasurer to hold office for one year unless sooner discharged by the
trustees.

108. No Trustee shall furnish on his own account, supplies of any
description for the use of the almshouse, upon pain of forfeiting the

house to work unless ordered to do so by a majority of the Trustees.

110. Upon complaint and due proof, made by the overseer, that any
person in the said almshouse has behaved in a disorderly manner or has
refused or neglected to obey any of the rules and by-laws of said trustees,
said trustees may direct such moderate and proper correction or punish-
ment to be given to such offender as the nature of the case may require;
but the overseer shall have no right, and he is hereby prohibited from in-
flicting any punishment on such offender without first having reported
