3734 ARTICLE 17.

and every year he shall make an alphabetical list of the taxes due and in
arrears which list shall contain the name or names of the person or per-
sons or body corporate, assessed with property upon which taxes are due
and in arrears, a brief description of the property and such references to
conveyances as will render the same certain of identification, and the
amount of taxes levied and in arrears with interest and costs accrued and
to accrue thereon to the date of sale, to which list, shall be appended a
notice that if the said tax or taxes are not paid on or before the second
Monday in April next ensuing, together with the interest accrued thereon
and a proportionate cost of advertising and fees, he will proceed at ten
o'clock A. M. on said second Monday of April in said town to offer each
and every of said parcels of land for sale to the highest bidder for cash,
which said list and notice shall be published for four successive weeks,
prior to the first Monday in March and on the second Monday in April
the Town Treasurer shall, at the hour and place named in said advertise-
ment proceed to sell any and all such pieces or parcels of land and prem-
ises beginning with first on the list and so on in order upon which taxes,
interest, costs and fees shall not have been paid.

77. The said Treasurer shall within thirty days after the close of such
sale make a full report thereof to the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County setting forth his proceedsi in detail which sale shall be ratified
by the Court as is now provided by law as in the case of County tax sales.

78. Whenever real estate shall be sold by the Town Treasurer, the
owner thereof prior to the sale, may redeem same by paying into said
Court to be paid to the purchaser thereof within the period of twenty-
four calendar months from the date of such sale the amount of the pur-
chase money, all subsequent taxes paid by the purchaser, and all Court
costs, with interest thereon, at the rate of twelve per centum per annum
from date of sale, and the date of the payment of such taxes, and costs
respectively. After the expiration of said period of twenty-four months
provided the property has not been redeemed and the sale finally ratified
and confirmed by the Court the Town Treasurer then in office shall, at
the expense of the purchaser by a good and sufficient deed executed and
acknowledged according to law convey to the purchaser or purchasers the
parcel or parcels of land sold by them respectively; and the deed of the
successor in office of the Treasurer who made the sale shall be valid in law
as though it had been executed and delivered by the said last named
Treasurer.

79. The Commissioners of Boulevard Heights may purchase in their
discretion and* property for sale for the payment of taxes, provided they
