3378 ARTICLE 16.

1927, ch. 483, sec. 2.

306. The Board of Supervisors of Election of Montgomery County is
hereby authorized to open and maintain such registration and election
books as may be necessary for the additional precinct in the Seventh Elec-
tion District, and for the additional precinct in the Thirteenth Election
District, authorized by the provisions of this Act. And it is further
authorized, in the event that either or both of said additional precincts
are created, to prepare new registration books and records for the pre-
cincts, the boundaries of which may be changed or created under the
authority of the provisions of this Act; and the said Board of Supervisors
of Election of Montgomery County is hereby authorized to make such
transfers of record and to perform such duties and exercise such powers
as may be necessary for the creation of said additional precincts and for
the conduct of elections in the precincts of the Seventh Election District
and the Thirteenth Election District, in the event that the boundaries of
the precincts of either or both of said Election Districts are changed under
the provisions of this Act.

307. The Board of Election Supervisors of Montgomery County are
hereby authorized and directed to create four voting precincts in the
Thirteenth Election District of Montgomery County and to fix by procla-
mation the boundaries thereof.

308. The voting place, or polls, in one of said precincts, as so estab-
lished, shall be in the Town of Kensington; that the voting place in an-
other of said precincts, as so established, shall be at Wheaton; that the
voting place, or polls, in another of said precincts, as so established, shall
be at Silver Spring; that the voting place, or polls, in the other said pre-
cinct, as so established, shall be in the Town of Takoma Park, Mary-
land.

1918, ch. 291, sec. 3.

309. The Board of Election Supervisors for Montgomery County are
hereby authorized and directed to appoint for said new election precincts,
in said Thirteenth Election District of Montgomery County, all officers
of registration of voters, judges, clerks, door-keepers, for election pur-
poses, as they may be authorized by law to appoint for each voting pre-
cinct in said County of Montgomery, and also to do whatever else within
the scope of their authority it may be necessary to be done to carry out
the objects and purposes of this Act.

310. The registration officers of said election precincts shall make out
and prepare new lists of voters for said precincts, enter the same on books
for that purpose, and publish said list, in the manner now prescribed by
