3012 ARTICLE 13.

the result of said visit to the Board of County Commissioners for Harford
County, together with any recommendations they may see fit to make,
and it shall be the duty of the sheriff of said county to facilitate them in

their examination and investigation.

STATE'S ATTORNEY.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 458. 1920, ch. 265.

458. The State's Attorney of Harford County shall receive an annual

salary of twenty-five hundred dollars, to be paid him by the County
Commissioners of said county, in quarterly installments from the first
Monday in January, nineteen hundred and twenty, the same to be levied
by the County Commissioners for the use of the State's Attorney as
aforesaid.

TOMATOES.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 459.

459. The legal weight of tomatoes in Harford County shall be sixty-
two pounds to the bushel, and in all cases where either the buyer or seller

of tomatoes so desires it, they shall be sold by such weight.

TAXES AND COUNTY TREASURER.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 460.

460. The Treasurer of Harford County now in office shall hold his

office until the first day of May, 1914, and unless he shall die or otherwise
vacate his office, his successor shall be elected at the general election in
1913.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 461.

461. The Treasurer of Harford County shall be a resident and quali-
fied voter of said county, and not less than twenty-five years of age on the

date of his election; he shall be elected at the general election held in said
county, and shall hold his office for a term of four years from the first

day of May next succeeding the date of his election.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 462.

462. If the person elected shall fail to qualify or to execute the bonds

or either of them required by the succeeding sections, or in the event of

the treasurer's removal from the county, death, resignation or removal
from office, the County Commissioners shall declare said office vacant,
and at once proceed to fill the same by the appointment of a person pos-
sessing the qualifications required by this Act, who shall qualify and
bond within such time as the commissioners may direct, and who shall serve
until the next general election, when a treasurer shall be elected for a full
term of four years.
