1916, ch. 680, sec. 366. 1916, ch. 199, sec. 193.

358. Every person having complied with the provisions of the five
preceding sections and having obtained a license for the sale of spirituous
or fermented liquors in said city, shall display such license to conspicuous
view in the room or locality where he proposes to sell, so as to be easily
read. But no person who has been granted a license as aforesaid shall
display to public view on the streets of Havre de Grace any sign or
advertising matter or paraphernalia to increase the sale of or call attention
to the public that spirituous or fermented liquors are sold or can be had
on said premises; provided, however, that every person who shall obtain
a license under the provisions of the preceding sections of this subtitle of
this Article, shall display a neat sign containing the name of the hotel
for which the said license was granted. And no such person shall sell
any such liquors at any place in said city other than upon the premises
named in said applicant's written affidavit; and no such license shall
authorize sales by any person who shall neglect the requirements or violate
the provisions of this section.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 367.

359. Any person buying spirituous or fermented liquors, or intoxi-
cating drink of any kind, without first ascertaining that the person selling
such has a license to sell the same, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
on conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace of Harford County,
shall pay a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than ten dollars;
provided, however, that any person who shall be used as a witness to
convict any one selling without license, shall be relieved from said fine,
and no testimony given by him shall be used to incriminate him in any
other proceeding.

360. No license for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors shall be
granted to any female, or to any person under the age of twenty-one years;
nor shall any person licensed under this sub-title of this article employ
any female or minor as a bartender, agent or clerk, to sell, give or deliver
spirituous or fermented liquors, or intoxicating drinks of any kind or

description, to purchasers or others, at his place of business.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 369.

361. Any person licensed under this sub-title of the article, and so em-
ploying any female or minor as set forth in the preceding Section, shall,
upon indictment and conviction thereof, be fined not less than fifty dol-
lars nor more than three hundred dollars, or be imprisoned in the county
jail for not less than thirty days nor more than three months, and the
license of such person may be suppressed in the discretion of the Court.

362. It shall not be lawful for any person having license to sell spiritu-
