GARRETT COUNTY. 2751

bridge crosses said branch on the Wilson and Kitzmillerville county road;
then with said road to the top of Back Bone Mountain; thence with the
crest of said mountain in a southwesterly direction to a point due north
of the northeast branch of Lost Land run; then to and down with the
meanders of said run to its mouth and to the State line upon the right or
east bank of the Potomac river; then down with the river to the beginning
opposite the mouth of Three Forks run.

166. District number fourteen (14) shall be known as West Oakland
district and shall begin on the State line where that line crosses the Rhine
fork of the Youghiogheny river, and run down said river to the mouth of
Cherry creek; then up Cherry creek to the mouth of Bungey's run; then
up Bungey's run to where that run was formerly crossed by the old
Moorefield turnpike; then by a straight line to the forks of the West
Union and Mason county road at Gortner; then in a northerly direction
with the West Union and Oakland road to Oakland; then passing through
Oakland by Third street to the Hooppole Ridge road and with it to Deep
creek; then down Deep creek to its mouth on the Youghiogheny river;
then up said river to the mouth of Muddy creek; then up Muddy creek
to the mouth of Hoye's run; then west up Hoye's run to its intersection
with the State line; then due south with the State line to the beginning
on Youghiogheny river.*

167. A new election district is hereby created and established in Gar-
rett County from parts of Districts Nos. 3, 9, and 11, and to be known
as Avilton District No. 15, and said district to be established by said
Supervisors of Elections as hereinafter provided, in time for the registra-
tion of voters legally entitled to register therein at the next general regis-
tration as provided for under the general laws of Maryland.

168. The said election district so created shall be within the following
bounds, to wit: Beginning at the forks of the road at Lewis Warnick's
on the lower New Germany road, and with said road ,by way of the
Dorcey place to the National Pike and then with the National Pike to the
line of District No. 9, and then by a straight line to the Calahan road,
to the Frostburg road, and by a straight line due East to Big Savage
Mountain, and then with the top of said Mountain to the Lonaconing road,
then by a straight line to the mouth of Little Savage River, and thence by
a straight line to the beginning.

169. The polling place of said Avilton district No. 15, shall be at
some place to be selected and designated by the Supervisors of Elections of
