traverser or traversers manufactured for sale, sold, purchased for sale
transported for sale, dispensed or otherwise disposed of any alcoholic,
spirituous, vinous, fermented, distilled or malt liquors or intoxicating'
bitters or liquid mixtures or preparations which produce intoxication, in
violation of said Chapter 30 of the Acts of 1916 of the General Assembly
of Maryland, or deposited, kept or had in his, her, their or its possession
any such alcoholic, spirituous, vinous, fermented, distilled or malt liquors
or intoxicating bitters or liquid mixtures, or preparations, or any ma-
terials or instrumentalities for the manufacture, sale, transportation, dis-
pensation or other disposition thereof, with intent to manufacture, sell,
transport for sale, dispense or otherwise dispose of any such liquor, or that
the same be manufactured for sale, sold, transported for sale, dispensed or
otherwise disposed of, in violation of the provisions of Section 2 of this
Act of said Chapter 30 of the Acts of 1916 of the General Assembly of
Maryland.

523. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, firm, club or cor-
poration, to sell directly or indirectly, or receive orders for the purchase
of, or give to any person or persons under twenty-one years of age, within
the limits of Frederick County, any spirituous or fermented liquors or in-
toxicating drinks of any kind whatsoever, or any article used or sold as a
beverage in the composition of which whiskey, brandy, high wines or al-
cohol, or any spirituous or fermented liquors shall be an ingredient or in-
gredients.*

524. It shall be unlawful for any person, directly or indirectly, to
sell, barter or distribute any spirituous or fermented liquors, lager beer,
wine, cider or intoxicating drinks of any kind at any place in Buckeys-
town District No. 1, in Frederick County, Maryland, whether or not made
or manufactured by the person offering to make such sale, barter or dis-
tribution thereof, nor shall any license be granted for the sale of any of
the liquors, drinks or beverages herein mentioned within the said district;
provided, that nothing in this Act shall prohibit the sale of cider and
home-made wine within said district by the maker or manufacturer in
quantities not less than one barrel when the same is not to be used or con-
sumed on the premises where sold.

525. Any person convicted of the violation of this Act in any court
having jurisdiction of the offense shall for the first offense be fined in the
sum of not less than fifty dollars nor more than three hundred dollars, and
for the second offense not less than one hundred dollars nor more than six
hundred dollars, and on failure to pay the fine and cost imposed by the
