tion, choose one of their number president of the board, whose duty it
shall be to prescribe at all their meetings, preserve order and enforce
the provisions of this subtitle of this Article.

467. They may appoint a clerk, prescribe his duties, and allow him
such compensation as they think proper.

468. The clerk shall enter all ordinances passed by the commissioners,
in a book to be kept by him for that purpose, and it shall be open at all

469. Said commissioners shall have power to pass all such by-laws

limits thereof.

county taxes may do for county taxes.
