2470 ARTICLE 11.

199. All the rights, titles and interests heretofore acquired by the
Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick, or by any other corporation, firm or
individual, are hereby saved and preserved to be availed of by the Mayor
and Aldermen of Frederick, or any other corporation, firm or individual
as fully and to the same extent as though this Act had not been passed,
and nothing in this Act shall be constmed as in any manner impairing the
validity of any such rights, titles and Interests which have accrued under
said Chapter 93 of the Acts of Assembly of 1914, or said Chapter 550 of
the Acts of Assembly of 1906, or of said Chapter 407 of the Acts of As-
sembly of 1924, or of any rights and remedies thereof or in relation there-
to, but all such rights and remedies shall remain and be enforceable the
same as though this Act had not been passed.

200. The police limits of Frederick City shall be as the same were
originally fixed and described in Section 2 of Chapter 74 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1870, namely: Beginning at the
forty-four mile stone on the Baltimore and Fredericktown turnpike road,
thence with a straight line to a point on or near the Georgetown turnpike,
so as to include the brick house formerly owned by John Hughes; thence
with a straight line to a point on or near the Jefferson turnpike, so as to
include the house formerly owned by John McPherson, thence with a
straight line to a point on or near the Montevue turnpike, so as to include
the house formerly owned by Christopher Meyers; thence with a straight
line to a point not far from the Woodsboro turnpike, so as to include the
house formerly owned by John Graham; thence with a straight line to the
mouth of Carroll Creek; thence with a straight line to the aforesaid forty-
four mile stone; and all ordinances heretofore passed by the Mayor and
Aldermen of Frederick to preserve the peace, order and quiet of Frederick
or that may hereafter be passed, shall apply to said police limits and to
all persons therein; and the justices of the peace of election district num-
ber two of Frederick County shall have power to apprehend and try any
and all persons violating any of the provisions of said ordinances within
said police limits, and to enforce the fines, penalties and punishments
therein prescribed.

201. The boundaries of the lots, streets and alleys in said city are as
described on the surveys and plats thereof in the office of the city register
or City Engineer; and the said plats and surveys shall be received as the
boundaries of the lots, streets, lanes and alleys thereof.
