2268 ARTICLE 10.

1921 ch. 287.

255. A new precinct is hereby created in Cambridge, or the Seventh
Election District of Dorchester County, to be known as the "Fifth, or
East Cambridge Precinct," and that it shall consist of all that part of the
First Precinct of said Seventh Election District, which lies east of the
Cambridge Creek, beginning at the mouth thereof and binding with the
said east side of said creek to a ravine at the head thereof, which runs
between the properties of The Phillips Packing Company and the prop-
erty of one Edward Hayes, and thence with the said ravine until it
intersects the culvert which passes under the State Road at point a dis-
tance of about ninety (90) feet from the west side of the Cambridge and
Seaford Railroad tract, and thence with the said State Road in an easterly

or northeasterly direction to Jacktown, and thence with the said State
Road on the north side thereof, and thence running and binding with the
State Road until it intersects the Linkwood or No. 14 Election District,

and thence in a northerly or northwesterly direction with the said Link-
wood Election District to the Choptank River and thence with the Chop-
tank River to the place of beginning, and the voting place for said precinct
hereby created, shall be in East Cambridge, at such place as may be ap-
pointed by the Supervisors of Election for Dorchester County.

1924, ch, 287.

256. The Supervisors of Election for Dorchester County, shall have
transcribed from the First Precinct of the Seventh Election District of
Dorchester County, all the names of the registered voters living within the
lines of this new precinct hereby created, upon new books to be purchased
by the said Supervisors of Election f or such precinct, provided that if the
registrar shall fail to make the proper transfer from one precinct to the

other, the voter will be entitled to vote in the precinct where he remained
duly registered.

1924, ch. 397.

257. The First Election Precinct of Cambridge or No. 7 Election
District of Dorchester County is hereby enlarged by adding to said First
Precinct all that part of Election Precinct No. 2 of said Cambridge or
Election District No. 7, which lies to the east and north of the following
lines: Beginning at the southeast cor aer of High Street and Gay Alley,
thence runs in a southerly direction, parallel with Pine Street to a bound-
ary planted in the middle of Muir Street, one of the boundaries of the
Second Ward of Cambridge, ^Maryland, distant four hundred and eighty-
three feet in a westward direction from the curb of the western side of
Race Street, thence in a line parallel with Pine Street in a south direction,
a distance of one hundred and ninety-four and seven-tenths feet to another
boundary there planted, thence in a southeast direction three hundred and
forty-eight feet to the Northwest corner of the store, now occupied by E.
M. Skinner & Bro., said last named bounder being one hundred and thirty-
four feet distant from the westward curb of Race Street, thence in a south-
ward direction parallel with Pine Street to a bounder planted in the mid-
