discretion, under such rules and regulations as they may prescribe, any
sum or sums of money not exceeding six hundred dollars ($600.00) per
year for farmers' co-operative demonstration work in Dorchester County,
along the same line as this work is or may be conducted by the United
States Department of Agriculture, and may conduct such work jointly in
Dorchester County with the agents and representatives of the United
States Department of Agriculture, upon such terms and conditions as may
be agreed upon between the agent of the Department of Agriculture of the
United States and the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester
County.

208. The name of Secretary Creek, a branch of the Great Choptank
River, in Dorchester County, is changed to Warwick River, and the name
of Cambridge Creek is changed to Cambridge Harbor.
Hunting Creek was changed to Linchester River by ch. 29, 1890.

209. The crier of the circuit court shall be entitled to and receive a
per diem of three dollars for each and every day he shall be employed as
such, which shall be in full and in lieu of all other allowances now author-
ized by law; and the Commissioners are authorized and directed to levy
annually, for the use of the crier of said court, on the assessable prop-
erty of said county, such sum of money as they shall deem sufficient to
pay his per diem, for both the general and equity terms thereof; and upon
presentation to said County Commissioners, of the certificates of the clerk
of said court, certifying the number of clays in which he has been engaged
at each term of said court, he shall be entitled to receive his per diem in
cash; and the said County Commissioners are directed, upon presenta-
tion thereof, to pay the same.

210. Any person killing any crow within the limits of Dorchester
County shall be entitled to receive a bounty of five (5) cents for each and
every crow so killed.

211. To obtain said bounty, it shall be necessary for the person killing
said crow to produce the head of the same before some justice of the peace
for Dorchester County, and at the same time make oath that the said
