165. The provisions of Sections 241 to 245, of Article 4, of the Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," relating to "Cruelty to Animals,"

shall apply to Cecil County as fully as if repeated in this Article.

Secs. 241-245 repealed by ch. 496, 1902. Ch. 198, 1890, superseded said sections.

ELECTION DISTRICTS.

166. Cecil County is divided into nine election districts, according
to their present bounds and limits, and elections for all public offices shall
be held in each of said districts at the places heretofore established by
law for that purpose.

167. The judges and clerks of election in Cecil County shall each be
allowed for every election at which they may attend and act, and for mak-
ing the returns thereof, the sum of three dollars per day.

168. The judges of elections in the several election districts in said
county may, in their discretion, appoint two of the constables of their
respective districts to attend on the days of election at the place of receiv-
ing votes, for the purpose of preserving the peace.

ELKTON.*

169. The inhabitants of the town of Elkton are a corporation by the
name of "The President and Commissioners of the Town of Elkton," and
by that name shall have perpetual succession, may sue and be sued, may
purchase, hold and dispose of real, personal and mixed property, for the
use and benefit of said town; and may have and use a common seal, which
may be altered at pleasure.
