of the said court, or a majority of them, think it advisable that said sys-
tem should be adopted and used in said court.

72. In the event of the adoption of the said system of indexing in said
court, the clerk is authorized to draw on the County Commissioners for
the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to pay for the right to use the
same.

73. There shall be three County Commissioners for Calvert County.
They shall each receive an annual salary of six hundred dollars and no
more for any purpose whatsoever, and said salary shall be payable by
the treasurer of said county, as other debts of said county ai'e paid.

74. The three County Commissioners for Calvert County who were
elected on the Tuesday next after the first Monday of November, in the
year nineteen hundred and thirteen, shall hold their office for the term of
two years from the date of said election, or until their successors are duly
elected and qualified.

75. At the general election to be held in said county on the Tuesday
next after the first Monday of November, in the year nineteen hundred
and fifteen, there shall be elected three County Commissioners, who shall
be selected, respectively, one from the First Election District, one from
the Second Election District and one from the Third Election District
of said county, whose tenns+ of office shall be, respectively, as follows:
The one elected from the First Election District shall hold office for the
term of six years from the date of his election; the one from the Second
Election District shall hold office for the term of four years from the date
of his election, and the one from the Third Election District of said county
shall hold office for the term of two years from the date of his election,
and in each case until his successor shall be elected and qualified. And
at each general election, held, respectively, every second year after the
election to be held on the Tu&sday next after the first Monday of Novem-
ber in the year nineteen hundred and fifteen, there shall be elected one
County Commissioner for the full term of six years to succeed the Coin-

to issue bonds, the maturity of which extend beyond 1930, as follows: 1908, ch.
83 (p. 669), $35,000 for County Jail; 1914, ch. 436, $25,000 for Court House;
1920, ch. 67, $20,000 for schools; 1920, ch. 671, $5,000 for colored industrial school;
1924, ch. 360, $35,000 for schools.
