from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Garrett County an annual license,
and paying therefor as follows:

Each row boat, canoe, or sail boat, per annum, $2. 50;

Each row boat, canoe, or sail boat for hiring, per annum, $5. 00;

Each motor boat, per annum, $5. 00;

Each motor boat for hiring, per annum, $10. 00;

together with a fee of twenty-five cents (25c) for each license to the Clerk
for issuance of same, said license shall specify the number, name and post
office address of licensee, size and kind of boat licensed. Blanks for issu-
ing said licenses shall be supplied to the Clerk by the Conservation Com-
missioner and countersigned by the Clerk who issues same. The Clerk
shall fill out the license in duplicate, one to be given to the licensee and the
other to the game warden in charge of the area, who shall register all facts
thereon in a registration book to be provided by the Conservation Depart-
ment for that purpose. The Clerk of Court shall account for the license
fees to the Comptroller in the same manner as described in Section 82 of
this Article. The said licensee shall plainly display the number of his
license in figures at least four inches in height above the water line on both
sides of the bow of the boat, and each motor boat shall conform to the
Federal regulations as to lights, life preservers and other equipment for
motor boats. Each motor boat so licensed and used on the waters of the
Lake shall be under the supervision of the Conservation Commissioner, his
deputies and game warden in charge of the area, whose duty it shall be to
see that no boats shall be permitted to ply the waters of this Lake that are
not complying with the Federal regulations, or which are polluting the
waters with oil or other waste, and the said Conservation Commissioner,
his deputies and game warden are hereby authorized and empowered to
arrest anyone using his motor beat in violation of the above regulations and
shall be further empowered to remove such boats from said Lake until the
owner or operator of said boat has corrected these irregularities.

86. Wharf, Pier, Dock, Etc., Prohibited—Proviso. It shall be unlaw-
ful for any person to build, construct or have constructed or place any
wharf, pier, dock, float or any projection along or running into or over
the waters of this area without first obtaining from the Conservation Com-
missioner of Maryland and the lessors of said area a written permit
so to do.

87. Appointment of Game Wardens. The Conservation Commissioner
of Maryland shall appoint a citizen of Maryland to act as deputy game
warden in charge of the area herein described. The same powers and
duties pertaining to and governing the office of deputy game warden as
set forth in the game laws of Maryland shall apply to this office. The
game warden and deputy game warden of the State of Maryland shall also
