2042 ARTICLE 56.

for stall purposes, and before doing so, shall first take out a license, there-
for, paying an annual license fee as follows:

First. Where the charge for the keep or deposit of any article
is at the rate of 10 cents or more for every twenty-four hours or
fraction thereof of storage, each, per annum................ $ 40.00

Second. Where the charge for the keep or deposit of any
article is at the rate of less than 10 cents for every twenty-four
hours or fraction thereof of storage, each, per annum........ $ 20.00

Cleaning, Dyeing and Pressing.

An. Code, sec. 180. 1916, ch. 704, sec. 180.

242. Each person, firm or corporation, resident or non-resident con-
ducting the business of cleaning, dyeing and pressing in this State, when
done by steam, electric or other power than by hand, shall before doing
so, take out a .license therefor, and shall pay an annual license fee therefor
as follows:

Establishments employing less than five persons........... $ 5.00

Establishments employing not less than five persons and not
more than ten persons ................................. $ 15.00

Establishments employing not less than ten persons and not
more than twenty persons................................$ 50.00

Establishments employing more than twenty persons....... $100.00

Shoe Shining Parlors and Hat Cleaning Establishments.

An. Code, sec. 181. 1916, ch. 704, sec. 181.

243. Each person, firm or corporation conducting a shoe shining par-
lor, containing more than two chairs, or hat cleaning establishment, shall
before doing so, take out a license therefor, and shall for each place of
business, pay an annual license fee of $10.00.

Restaurants or Eating Places.

An. Code, sec. 182. 1916, ch. 704, sec. 182. 1920, ch. 504, sec. 182.

244. Each person, firm or corporation, resident or non-resident, oper-
ating or conducting a restaurant or eating place, shall, before doing so,
take out a license therefor, and shall pay an annual license fee for each
place of business so operated, graduated as follows:

In cities or towns of less than 8,000 inhabitants, for each place
of business .......................................... $10.00

In cities or towns of 8,000 inhabitants, or over, for each place
of business .......................................... 25.00

Plumbers and Gas Fitters.

An. Code, sec. 183. 1916, ch. 704, sec. 183.

245. Each person, firm or corporation, not holding a trader's license,
operating or conducting the business of a plumber or gas fitter, shall
