LICENSES. 2037

Those having a seating capacity of more than 400 and less than
500, each ........................................... $ 80.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 500 and less than
1,000, each ............................................ 90.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 1,000, each.... 100.00

Where the price of admission to such exhibitions is more than five cents,
the following license fees shall be annually paid:

Places of amusement having a seating capacity of less than
200, each ............................................ 50.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 200 and less than
300, each ..................'.......................... 75.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 300 and less than
400, each ............................................ 100.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 400 and less than
500, each .............................................. 150.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 500 and less than
1,000, each ........................................ 225.00

Those having a seating capacity of more than 1,000, each..... 300.00

Provided, however, that all moving picture shows as above mentioned
where the exhibitions given therein do not exceed three nights of per-
formance in any one week, the fee shall be one-half of the amounts for all
moving picture shows charging five or more than five cents as above recited.

Provided, however, that all moving picture shows or vaudeville shows
or other performances given where the operating individual, firm or cor-
poration receives any portion of profit therefrom, or where such show
or performance is given in conjunction with the sale of Patent Medicine
there shall be a license fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) per week. Provided,
further, that where any such show or performance shall be given for
charity and where no profit or portion of the receipts therefrom shall be
given to any operator or other person, there shall be no license fee there-
for. Provided, further, that any firm, company or corporation operating
a carnival in this State shall first take out a license therefor and pay the
sum of one hundred dollars for each week of performance or any frac-
tional part of a week.

Garages.

An. Code, sec. 166. 1916, ch. 704, sec. 166. 1920, ch. 294.

228. No person, firm, company or corporation, resident or non-resident,
in this State shall keep a garage for the hire, storage or sale of automobiles
until they shall first have obtained a license therefor, and shall pay an
annual license fee based upon the square feet of each floor for each garage,
viz.:

Garage containing not more than 1600 square feet........... $ 15.00

Those containing more than 1600 square feet, and not more
than 2000 square feet.................................. 20.00
