said fund by the respective counties. Out of said fund the State Game
Warden shall pay the sum of fifty cents for each head of a bird-hawk
or chicken-hawk actually killed in this State, to the person producing
satisfactory proof of having killed said hawk within this State. The
said Commission shall require the State Game Warden to file an annual
account with him, showing the entire receipts and disbursements of
himself and all deputies, and exhibit vouchers therefor, and also shall
require said State Game Warden to file an approved bond in the pen-
alty of two thousand dollars ($2,000) for the faithful performance of
his duties, the cost of said bond to be paid out of said fund.

79. Any person found guilty of hunting, pursuing or killing any of
the birds or animals referred to in the Act of 1918, Chapter 468, with-
out having a license and written permission in his or her possession,
except as herein provided, or of refusing to show said license and writ-
ten permission when demanded by the State Game Warden or any
Deputy or local Game Warden, Sheriff, Constable or other officer, or
A'iolating any of the other provisions of the Act of 1918, Chapter 468,
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
before a Justice of the Peace of this State, shall be fined Fifteen Dollars
($15) for each and every offense and shall stand committed to the
County Jail or the Baltimore City Jail until such fine and costs are
paid, but such imprisonment shall not exceed fifteen days for each
offense. Any Constable or other officer or person other than the game
warden or deputy game wardens or officer under the Conservation Com-
mission receiving compensation, who shall procure the conviction of
any person for violating any provision or provisions of the Act of 1918,
Chapter 468, shall receive half of the fine recovered; the remaining half
shall be paid over to the State Comptroller for the account of the State
Game Protection Fund, to be used as herein provided. The total fines
hereafter collected by the State Game Warden or any of the Deputy
Game Wardens who receives other compensation shall be paid into the
State Game Protection Fund.*
Foxes.

80. From and after April 10, 1918, it shall be unlawful to sell, or
expose for sale, any fox or any fox hide in Worcester, Somerset Coun-
ties, and it shall be unlawful to ship by freight or express, or otherwise,
or to take any fox, or any fox hide, from any place within said State
to any place outside of said State. Any person or persons violating the
provisions of this Section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction thereof in the Circuit Court of said counties shall be
fined in a sum not exceeding Fifty Dollars, or imprisoned for a term
not exceeding ten days, in the discretion of the Court. One-half of all
