Seed.

99. That the term "agricultural seeds" or "agricultural seed," as
used in this sub-title, shall be defined as the seeds of Canada bluegrass,
Kentucky bluegrass, brome grass, fescues, millets, tall meadow oat
grass, orchard grass, redtop, Italian ryegrass, perennial ryegrass. Kaffir
corn, sorghum or cane, Sudan grass, timothy, alfalfa, alsike clover,
crimson clover, mammoth or sapling clover, red clover, sweet clover,
white clover, Canada field peas, cowpeas, soy beans, vetches, and other
grasses and forage plants, buckwheat, flax, rape, barley, field corn,
oats, rye, wheat and other cereals, which are sold, offered or exposed
for sale within the State of Maryland for seeding purposes within this
State.*

100. Every lot of agricultural seeds, as defined in Section 99,
except as herein otherwise provided, when in bulk, packages or other
containers of ten pounds or more, shall have affixed thereto, in a con-
spicuous place on the exterior of the container of such agricultural
seeds, a plainly written or printed tag or label in the English language,
stating:
A: The commonly accepted name of such agrictdtural seeds.
B: The approximate percentage by weight of purity; meaning, the
freedom of such agricultural seeds from inert matter, and from other
seeds distinguishable by their appearance.
C: The approximate total percentage by weight of weed seeds; the
term "weed seeds," as herein used, being defined as the seeds of the
noxious weeds listed in Section 100D, below, and all seeds not listed in
Section 99 as agricultural seeds.
D: The name of each kind of the seeds or bulblets of the following
named noxious weeds which seeds or bulblets are present, singly or col-
lectively, as follows: (1) in excess of one seed or bulblet in each five
grams of timothy, redtop, tall meadow oat grass, orchard grass, crested
dogstail, Canada bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, fescues, brome grass,
perennial and Italian ryegrass, western ryegrass, crimson clover, mam-
moth clover, red clover, white clover, alsike clover, sweet clover, alfalfa,
and all other grasses and clovers not otherwise classified; (2) one in
twenty-five grams of millets, rape, flax, and other seeds not specified in
(1) or (3) of this sub-section; (3) one in one hundred grams of wheat,
oats, rye, barley, buckwheat, vetches, and other seeds as large or larger
than wheat.
For purposes of this sub-title, the following shall be defined as nox-
ious weeds: garlic or wild onion (Allium vineale), Bermuda grass
(Cynodon dactylon). quack grass (Agropyron repens), dodder (Cus-
