fail to pay for the same, and every person who shall obtain credit at
any hotel, inn, boarding house, hospital or sanitarium by the use of any
false pretense or device, or by fraudulently depositing at such hotel,
inn, boarding house, hospital or sanitarium any baggage or property
of value less than the amount of such credit or of the bill by such per-
son incurred; and every person who, after obtaining credit or accom-
modation at any hotel, inn, boarding house, hospital or sanitarium shall
abscond or fraudulently depart or remove his baggage therefrom with-
out discharging the debt as aforesaid incurred, shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of
not less than one hundred dollars or by imprisonment in jail for a term
of not less than one month nor more than six months, or by both such
fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the Court. And in deter-
mination of any question arising under this section the fact that such
departure or removal was without the knowledge or consent of the
proprietor or manager of such hotel, inn, boarding house, hospital or
sanitarium or the representatives or agent of such proprietor or man-
ager, shall be treated as presumptive evidence that such departure or
removal was fraudulent. Nothing in this section shall apply to or
affect the prosecution of any offense which may have been committed
prior to the passage of this section, or the punishment provided for
such offense.
Fraud—False Insignia.

151. It shall be unlawful for any person to falsely personate any
officer or member of any military or patriotic organizations or of any
Grand or Subordinate lodge or fraternal society chartered or having
Grand or Subordinate lodge in this State.

152. It shall be unlawful for any person to wear the insignia, badge,
distinctive ribbons or membership rosette or button of a military or
patriotic organizations or of any lodge or fraternal society chartered or
having Grand or Subordinate lodges in this State, or to use the same to
obtain aid or assistance, personal or social recognition thereby, from
any person, within this State, unless he shall be entitled to use or wear
the same under the constitution and by-laws, rules and regulations of
such military or patriotic organizations or of such lodge, lodges, society
or societies, and anyone violating the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a
fine not less than twenty dollars and not more than two hundred dol-
lars. Provided, that nothing in this section shall prohibit the wear-
ing of the badge or insignia of any lodge or society by the mother, sis-
ter, wife or daughter of any member of such lodge or society entitled
under this and the preceding section to wear such badge or insignia.
