and to make traffic agreements with other express companies
to carry on the said express business.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Emmitsburg Railroad Company be, and it is
hereby, authorized and empowered to conduct and operate a
general express service over its own road, its extension and con-
nections, and to enter into traffic agreements with other rail-
roads or railways and express companies that are authorized
and empowered to contract with it for said purpose and to
charge such rates of compensation therefor as its Board of
Directors from time to time may determine.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 645.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 5 of
Chapter 346 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1904, relating to the method of qualification of deputy
game wardens.

CHAPTER 646.
AN ACT to refund to Margaret Garvey and Peter Garvey,
widow and only child of Patrick Garvey, late of Baltimore
county, in the State of Maryland, deceased, a sum of money
erroneously paid into the State Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw bis warrant upon the State
Treasurer in favor of Margaret Garvey and Peter Garvey,
widow and only child of Patrick Garvey, for the sum of one
hundred and sixty dollars and ninety-six cents ($160.96), being
the amount of money erroneously paid by the estate of the said
Patrick Garvey into the State Treasury as. collateral tax on
real and leasehold property of said estate, the same having
received the recommendation of the Treasury officials.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
