property and other necessary expenses; for the contingent fund
of the State Librarian, for postage, porterage, freight, purchase
of stationery, and other incidental expenses, five hundred dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the contin-
gent fund of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals, four hundred
and fifty dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, the
said sum being in addition to the sum of eight hundred dol-
lars now allowed said Clerk by Section 43 of Article 17 of the
Code of Public General Laws of 1904; said contingent funds
to be paid upon proper vouchers exhibited to the Comptroller.
Board of Shell Fish Commissioners.
For the salaries of the Board of Shell Fish Commissioners,
fifty-six hundred dollars; for the salary of the chief clerk to
said Board, twelve hundred dollars; for the salaries of the
assistants to be appointed by said Board and the surveyor,
and for the other outlays and disbursements authorized by law
to be made by said Board, the sum of three thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as, in the opinion of the Governor, may be
necessary.
State Library.
For the augmentation and furnishing of the State Library,
one thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; to
the State Librarian for the expenses and shipments of the
Acts of Assembly, reports and documents of the Session of
1914, three hundred and fifty dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary.
Inspections and Insurance.
For the payment of the annual ground rent on tobacco ware-
house lots in Baltimore City, four hundred and forty-eight dol-
lars and eleven cents; for the salaries of two inspectors of steam
boilers in the City of Baltimore, fifteen hundred dollars each,
three thousand dollars; for the salary of mine inspector in
Allegany and Garrett counties, one thousand five hundred dol-
lars, and for necessary stationery and office supplies, one hun-
dred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the
rent of the boxes in some safe deposit company, for the use of
the Treasury department, five hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary; for insurance on public buildings
of the State and the personal property belonging thereto, thir-
teen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.
