empowered and directed to levy annually upon the taxable
property within the corporate limits of Emmitsburg, in addi-
tion to the corporate taxes now allowed by law, a water tax to
be levied and collected the same as other corporate taxes are
levied and collected, but the said water tax so annually levied
by the burgess and commissioners of Emmitsburg shall not
exceed eight cents on every one hundred dollars of assessable
property within the corporate limits of said town.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 633.
AN ACT to repeal section 1, Chapter 386 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1908, entitled
"Revenue and Taxes," sub-title "Mode of Valuation and
Assessment," in so far as the same affects St. Mary's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 1, Chapter 386 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, Session 1908, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 634.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 642
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January Session of 1910, entitled An Act to further pro-
tect the black bass and brook trout in Frederick and Carroll
counties.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 642 of the Acts of 1910, entitled An Act
to further protect the black bass and brook trout in Frederick
and Carroll counties, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, as follows:
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful to catch black bass and brook
trout in the waters of Frederick and Carroll counties, except
