902 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 627]

CHAPTER 626.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of George Marsden.
deceased, to the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church
of Emmitsburg, Frederick county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same is hereby declared, given and granted
to the bequest of George Marsden, late of Frederick county,
Maryland, deceased, made by his last will and testament, dated
March 22nd, 1909, and duly recorded in the office of the Regis-
ter of Wills of Frederick county, in words following, to wit:
"All the rest and residue of my estate I give and bequeath to
the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Emmits-
burg, Frederick county, of Maryland."

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 627.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Wicomico and Dorchester Counties to jointly purchase,
equip and maintain a modern motor power ferry boat for
Vienna Ferry.

SECTION 1. . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Wicomico and Dor-
chester Counties are hereby authorized and empowered to pur-
chase, equip and maintain a modern motor power ferry boat
for the ferry crossing the Nanticoke River at the Town of
Vienna, known as the Vienna Ferry, and the said County
Commissioners of Wicomico and Dorchester Counties are fur-
ther authorized and empowered to levy a sufficient sum of
money in 1912 for the payment of the cost of said motor
power ferry boat, and may levy annually thereafter a sufficient
sum for the equipment and maintenance of said ferry, each of
the said counties to pay one-half of the cost of carrying out
any and all of the provisions of this act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
