for the entire printing and publishing of every kind whatsoever
to be paid for by the county any compensation exceeding four
hundred and fifty dollars, and if either of said papers shall not
contract for the printing for the above-named sum, then the
County Commissioners are hereby authorized and empowered to
have the same done by hand bill or such other method as they
may adopt; provided that nothing in this act shall apply to the
printing required for elections in said county, which printing
shall not exceed the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this act be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 620.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Council of
Easton to borrow, upon the faith and credit of the town of
Easton, Maryland, such sum or sums of money as may be
necessary to reimburse certain citizens of said town for
amount paid by them to induce the sale of forty thousand
($40,000) dollars of 4% Easton Sewerage System Loan
Bonds at par and interest, and to issue evidences of indebt-
edness for the same.
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Council of Easton are prevented by
the charter of said town of Easton from selling any bonds
for public improvements at a price of less than par and
accrued interest; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Council of Easton were unable to
dispose of forty thousand ($40,000) dollars of 4% Easton
Sewerage System Loan Bonds at the par value thereof, and
accrued interest, until a number of public-spirited citizens of
Easton had borrowed and advanced a sufficient sum to pay
the amount of difference between the market value and par
value thereof; and
WHEREAS, It is the desire of the Mayor and Council of Easton
to reimburse said citizens of the town of Easton for the money
paid by them to induce the sale of said Easton Sewerage
