of the roads of the county, and the improvements that have
been made in each election district in the twelve months preced-
ing April 30 of that year; the amount and kind of material
used' in each road with a detailed statement of its cost, and the
amount of cost of labor on each, road. The report shall contain
a concise statement of the amounts of money expended in each
election district for all road work, making proper allowance
when a road divides, which concise statement shall be published
in two county newspapers, twice during the month of May of
each year.
SEC. 342E. The County Commissioners of Washington
County are hereby authorized and empowered to levy upon the
taxable property of the county at the time of making their
annual levy, a sufficient tax to raise such a sum of money in
addition to the amounts regularly levied for the public roads
and bridges of the county as may be necessary to provide for
the salary of the said County Road Superintendent.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts or parts of
acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act be, and they are
hereby, repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 618.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 886A
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Vagrant, Dependent and Vicious Chil-
dren," as amended by the Acts of 1906, Chapter 263; also
to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 886s of
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Vagrant, Dependent and Vicious Ghil-
dren," as amended by the Acts of 1904, Chapter 514; also
to add four new sections to Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Vagrant,
Dependent and Vicious Children," to follow immediately
after section B of said article and to be known as sections
886C, 886D, 886E and 886F, respectively.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 886A of Article 4 of the Code of Public
